Jean Paul Gaultier — Le Male Le Parfum, Le Male Elixir, Le Beau Le Parfum
Three additions from Gaultier's two flagship men's lines. Le Male Le Parfum leans into cardamom, lavender, and iris for a sharper take on the original. Le Male Elixir goes darker still, lavender and mint against honey, tonka, and tobacco. Le Beau Le Parfum stays brighter, pineapple and ginger over coconut and woodsy notes.
BDK Parfums — Gris Charnel EDP, Gris Charnel Extrait, Rouge Smoking
BDK Parfums is a Paris house that doesn't get talked about enough outside enthusiast circles. Gris Charnel comes in both EDP and Extrait, built on cardamom, fig, and black tea over an iris and vetiver heart. Rouge Smoking goes a different direction entirely, cherry and pink pepper opening into black vanilla husk and heliotrope.
Marc-Antoine Barrois — Ganymede, Ganymede Extrait
Two versions of one of the more distinctive fragrances to come out of French niche perfumery in the last few years. The original leans on saffron and mandarin over osmanthus and immortelle. The Extrait pushes further into incense and myrrh, with a denser akigalawood base.
Chanel — Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme
A cleaner, sportier read on Allure Homme from Chanel. Mandarin, mint, and cypress up top, settling into tonka bean. Easy to wear, hard to get wrong.
