Two People, One Table, Every Vial
Saents is a husband and wife operation run out of Gothenburg, Sweden. We got into fragrances the way most people do: one interesting bottle led to another, then another, and eventually we had a problem. A very good-smelling problem, but a problem nonetheless.
The more we explored, the more we realised that sampling is just the sensible way to do it. Committing to a full bottle of something you have only smelled on a strip is a gamble most people lose at least once. We wanted to try widely without spending a fortune on bottles that end up at the back of a shelf. That thinking eventually led us here, if sampling was how we wanted to explore, why not build something around that and share the passion with others along the way.
What we care about
-
Authentic sourcing: Every bottle comes from verified European wholesalers or directly from the fragrance house. No grey market, no knock-offs. If we stock it, we know exactly where it came from. Should we have any doubt about a source, we walk away. Simple as that.
-
Actually hand-poured: There are no staff, no warehouse, no fulfilment centre. It is the two of us, a clean workspace, and glass atomizers. Every single vial is handled by one of us from opening to sealing to labelling.
-
Glass only, no plastic: Plastic reacts with fragrance oils over time and changes how they smell. Glass does not. Every decant we send out is in a proper glass atomizer, the same way it deserves to be stored.
-
Kept simple to keep prices fair: We run this lean on purpose. Low overhead means we can price honestly without padding margins to cover unnecessary costs. We are enthusiasts first and we want sampling to be genuinely accessible, not a premium you pay just for the privilege of trying something.
-
Direct support, always: When you contact us, you get one of us. No ticket queue, no scripted replies. We know the catalogue because we built it ourselves.
One honest caveat
Because everything is done by the two of us, there is a natural limit to how fast we can work. If we get busy, handling times may stretch a little. We will always be transparent about it, and we will always prioritise keeping prices fair over scaling up in a way that compromises quality. If you order during a busy period, we will let you know.
