Neroli Portofino opens with a vivid citrus burst of bergamot, lemon, and mandarin, lifted by a herbal edge of lavender and rosemary. The heart is a bright, sun-drenched neroli and orange blossom accord with an almost fizzy freshness from pittosporum. The base is light and warm, amber and ambretta keeping it from evaporating entirely. Tom Ford's homage to the Italian Riviera, and still one of the most convincing takes on the citrus cologne genre in modern perfumery.
