Oud Wood opens with warm, dry spice from cardamom and Sichuan pepper before settling into a smooth oud and rosewood heart that keeps the oud restrained and approachable rather than heavy or medicinal. Patchouli adds depth without going earthy, and a sandalwood and vanilla base rounds everything into a creamy, polished dry-down. One of the fragrances that introduced oud to a Western audience in a wearable way, and still holds up as one of the cleaner, more accessible ouds available at this price point.
